Home/Activities
Fill your days, or don't
We offer more complimentary activities than any other resort in the Solomon Islands. Doing nothing is also very well catered for.
The main events
What people come for
Surfing
Ten-plus named waves, most within 20 minutes. Consistent north swell from late November to April, and a maximum of 14 surfers on the island.
Diving
Walls, coral gardens, pelagic drifts and a WW2 Dauntless. No other operators, no other dive boats. SSI courses from the beach.
Fishing
River, reef and offshore. GTs, yellowfin, Spanish mackerel, coral trout — and mangrove jack and spot-tail bass in three untouched rivers.
Snorkelling
The house reef is five metres from the main house. The Blue Lagoon is 15 minutes north, with black tips, turtles and manta rays.
And everything else
The rest of the island

Spearfishing
Thousands of reefs and waterways, GTs, Spanish mackerel and coral trout, with guides who know exactly where to go.

Rainforest & walks
270 hectares of tropical rainforest, cycads hundreds of years old, rock pools, waterfalls and a three-hour island traverse.

Local villages
A village tour and dance at Kolopakisa — the school, the church, traditional haus and cook haus, and plenty of time to just talk.

For the kids
Dugout canoes, squid off the jetty, hermit crab racing, coconut-leaf weaving — and maybe some Pidgin English.

Everything complimentary
SUPs, kayaks, body boards, beach golf, boules, volleyball, table tennis, darts, board games and a full library.

Boat hire & extras
Long boat hire, surf transfers, river trips, guided kayaks and jungle walks — what they cost and how they work.
Why it stays quiet
We cap the numbers on purpose
The island sleeps 36, but far fewer than that can surf or dive on any given day. That's deliberate — it's the whole reason the waves and dive sites stay empty.
14
Surfers per day, across surf transfers and the surf boat combined
8
Divers on a multi-dive day, or up to 12 on singles
5
Fishing boats, running two to three anglers each
6
Spearfishers, on their own dedicated boat
What are you here for?
Waves, fish, reef, or a hammock and a book. Tell us and we'll build the trip around it.
